Is it something to do with driver training? RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - Gordon V - 19/04/2018 12:00 (19/04/2018 11:57)boby32 Wrote: Is it something to do with driver training? Yes,ie not enough RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - St Helens Rider - 19/04/2018 14:22 I have read on another forum that the wires are being energised on 6th May which only gives a fortnight for training with electric traction. The Preston - Blackpool North is signed by a fair few depots that already sign 319s. Blackpool North depot - a fair few are trained on 319 units Manchester Victoria depot - more than a fair few sign 319 units Wigan Wallgate depot - all crew should sign 319 units Liverpool Lime Street - all crew should sign 319 units Leeds City depot - no crew will sign 319 units however they exclusively work the sprinter operated Calder Valley services. So in short, I don't think crew that crew training will be an issue for electric units working the line RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - 507022 - 23/04/2018 16:44 (19/04/2018 23:12)jtd508110 Wrote: The Preston - Blackpool North is signed by a fair few depots that already sign 319s. It'll probably need route training as well, with the new layout and signalling on the route RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - boby32 - 25/04/2018 14:47 Video between Blackpool North to Kirkham. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=bt3xA1cd_HI Video between Kirkham to Preston. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8WOrYUv1aQ RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - Gordon V - 25/04/2018 23:30 https://www.rmt.org.uk/news/rmt-confirms-further-strike-action-over-guards-and-safety/ RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - boby32 - 26/04/2018 09:46 Here's a video of class 195101. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMom7jWj9pI RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - childwallblues - 26/04/2018 20:17 319431 returned to Allerton from Wolverton today. This was the one that caught fire in the toilet cubicle. RE: Northern (Arriva Rail North) - jtd508110 - 27/04/2018 16:15 It wasn't in the toilet that the fire started on 431, I believe that it was the fuse cupboard which is adjacent to the universal toilet |
