It was alive and well with a fully functioning engine when I rode on it at lunchtime on the 37, and later on the 31 also. Of course it may not be by Monday, if the runcorn cascades arrive tomorrow. Other Olympians noted on 37 were 3311 and 3331, with 3334 on the 29B later in the day.

AFAIK, 3334 was on the 29B All day, Which is unusual as it's usually a MPD.
Must of 3360, Must of went bang due to a minor fault! Did the driver thrash 3360? Usually whjen they go really fast, It scraps (listen to 0:40 on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuGg_KXfI-s)
Also, 4040 Was on the 31A.

4156 was also on 31/A but was booked off by a Centro mid-afternoon at Crewe. 709 and an MPD (866 I think) were doing Crewe locals. The Marshall Dart was on 29B at 12.15.

3360 sounded a lot better than that. 3334 was snatching gears quite viciously both up and down. Just a thought was it 3330 that had the engine problem earlier in the week?

Obviously what I was told about 3360 was a load of rubbish. Hammere

Wythenshawe are due some Runcorn cascades, but I have also heard Winsford are due some but not all of the Pulsars. Well see though!

forgot to mention -the 37s were messed up early in the afternoon by the closure of the main road between Mid'wich And Sandbach - diversion via some scarily narrow lanes - one particularly surprised group of anglers as 3111 went by.

Creweblue reports on the arriva yahoo group that cadet 2515 DK55FWZ has arrived here from runcorn it will replace marshall dart 7628 V628DVU. Another cadet is expected at winsford imminently to replace an MPD.

I was hoping that the Olympians would last until the Nantwich Jazz Festival weekend to help increase my chances of getting the required ones (now only 3311/3346). Any real time sightings of these buses in the next couple of weeks out on service into this board would be gratefully received :-)

Thanks in advance,
