W104 EWU - This is now in Ireland
W108 EWU - Still on our growing Fleet but not for long
MX05 ELJ - Tempo Still Current
YN53 SVR - Solo - New to The Fleet
YK04 KWC - Solo - New to the Fleet
Looking forward to catching the solos, what will they be on? And why has W104 EWU gone to Ireland? To another operator or for scrap?

Also glad to see your looking at starting a new Service to St Helens, its a good idea as the 329 Service interworks with the 360 in Warrington so if the 360 is met with delays it has an impact on the 329 so something you could take advantage of

As for the Service cuts mentioned above, Its more a Network change in St Helens, Details for it can be seen here:

Yes be nice to see a few more routes under his belt and hope they're decent loads.

Quote:Hi,

Maybe ive missed something about the cuts you've mentioned. Id be interested to find out more about this. One concern in my mind is that is an operator is proposing cuts to some services does that mean they are not profitable? I do have plans to link Warrington and St Helens in the near future, currently working on a route & time table.

If you can point me in the direction on information on the Cuts I would be grateful
Thanks

As the consultation has closed, I'm unsure if the Merseytravel links still work.

As for a service to Warrington, the 339 was a very useful service once established. Run by Fairway until that company ceased trading, the route ran as follows:

Warrington - Winwick Road - Gemini Retail Park - Burtonwood - St Helens Junction - St Helens Hospital - St Helens Town Centre - Dentons Green - Hard Lane Shops.

using 2 vehicles, the service ran hourly and from observations, appeared to be well used - apart the early days, I don't recall seeing it empty.

Would the 339 work these days as it was mostly OAPs that i saw using it

The 339 was well used at the end but as mentioned probably majority bus passes. Something along those lines though would give St Helens a link to the Gemini Retail Park again as well as partly replacing the 33A service to Burtonwood.

I think I read that your licence VA was currently for 4 vehicles, any plans to increase the licence and expand?

With future plans we would need to increase our licenses yes.
