Cardiff Bus - SK15 GZG - 15/07/2015 14:03

A contact of mine on Facebook has posted pictures of an Enviro400 MMC in the final stages of construction at Alexander Dennis' Scarborough factory in Cardiff Bus livery. This order follows on from the demonstrator (YY64 GWX) they had at the start of the year. Even without the operator branding I think that it looks extremely smart indeed and the livery suits the body design really well

RE: Cardiff Bus - Metroline1511 - 08/08/2015 20:16

I had a holiday in south Wales in July. On the Sunday I rode several Cardiff Bus vehicles, and a handful on the Tuesday too. Many have green seats, with a bit of orange padding on modern buses. Their main vehicle types are Scania-Olympus, Scania Omnicity bendibus, Scania-Solar/ Omnicity single-deck, Citaro, Enviro300, Enviro200 and Dart-Pointer. Of these, the Solars are evidently ex-dealer stock as they have different red seating.

Good to see, even though the MD said in an interview in Buses mag there wouldn't be any more deckers!

SD.

Was in Cardiff yesterday noting that the bus station had been closed and demolished. I saw about five deckers but they were all on different routes.

With credit to another website SPDs 361-371 have all left the fleet

RE: Cardiff Bus - SK15 GZG - 08/12/2015 16:28

SPDs 372-374 and 377/8 have been repainted into an all-over green livery - unsure whether they're withdrawn or not though

379 has been repainted into the new Cardiff Bus livery
