It would appear that MTT will be offering free open top tours in Southport again this summer on Sundays. http://www.qlocal.co.uk/southport/news_list/Merseyside_Transport_Trust_will_be_in_Southport_operating_a_FREE_Open_Top_Tour-52405473.htm

Also a relatively rare sighting saw 4064 working the Park & Ride service this morning.

It wasn't on P&R - the destination equipment had malfunctioned and was stuck on that setting :-)

Thanks for clearing that up, I thought it was a strange allocation.

Why are Southport cheaper per mile than St Helens and they use higher quality vehicles is this to make us switch to Southport by Stealth i don't mind other than Evening services i've not used a 352 since the scania's left but seriously...? i'm not being funny but a scruffy 4105 with cig burns on the walls poorly removed graffiti and running 15 late is still better than a pulsar 2 you have issues...

4.4 miles £2.70 Single Wigan-Rose and Crown Orrell 375
4.7 miles £2.40 Single Wigan-Upholland Church 352

30p ain't much but when Northern rail do a return for £2.30 you have issues.

4105 arrived 9 late today at the stop outside Dominos and left 16 late at Newtown and the 352 overtook it having been scheduled ten after the 375.

I don't know if you've just mistyped something there but going by what you've put, St Helens would look to be cheaper?
