To be honest if Arriva isn't really prepared to keep on top of keeping Sapphire Bus route vehicles clean and tidy then why did they spend the money on them in the first place. Sounds like a vanity project because Stagecoach have there Gold standard .

I've never looked at it that way stagecoach having gold. Who came first, gold or sapphire?

Stagecoach Goldline started in 2005, later becoming Stagecoach Gold.
Arriva Sapphire started in 2013

Dennis Dart SLF Plaxton Pointer 2 2217 is now Withdrawn from Service after breaking down in Service and not worth fixing due to cost and its expected time left anyway

Do we know if anything is due in to replace it?
Also, are the three Solos still around? Not seen them for a while.
