And on the common Dennis Trident chassis the mechanical side of things shouldnt be hard to source either! I think its worth pointing out while on the subject of tridents, one of the trio was over the pits last night, presumably 4001 after its overheat.

they have a Cummins engine in them so a very popular engine

Parts are rare to find my backside.

The Cummins C series engine is really common, as is the Voith gearbox too.

But I can see that because they are the only three of the type with that engine and gearbox makeup, Arriva wont have countless supplies of spares for them as they use an older engine than say the Trident enviros.

More like it, its not that theyre hard to get, its just that as they only have 3 buses of that type theres no point keeping too much in stock as they may not be needed - saving more in the long run ordering as and when they need them :P

That's the point I was trying to make. There are only t 3, with thise specifications or however you want to put it.

There was a broken down JUA decker this evening at stand 9 bus station didnt know which 1 because i was talking to the driver on 410

4403,work as got underway on the RTA damage and is getting the same extensive overhaul just like the work getting done to 4405.

3010 has a new Hanover control like 3123 etc...
