RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - M113 YKC - 23/03/2014 11:08 I had 2426 on the 79C on Friday! It was quite a good bus - smooth and rattle-free, although a bit sluggish. RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - Valandil - 04/04/2014 12:23 There is a feature on Arriva North West and Wales in this week's 'Bus and Coach Buyer', with a sizable section on Runcorn's gas buses. It says that the management are hoping to get in a further 10 gas buses, mainly for use on the 82a. RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - H101GEV - 04/04/2014 14:24 This would be great news if it does pan out. The Cadets are too small and too cramped for the 82A and the EcoCitys are generally superior buses. It would be nice to see the X1 converted to EcoCity operation also, as the Pulsars I've used on it ride rather badly. I wonder how EcoCitys would cope on the X1 with the fast section from the Runcorn Bridge to the edge of Liverpool. Unfortunately I can't see it happening as things stand anyway, with the relatively recent investment in branded vehicles for the service. With the commitment and large investment in infrastructure, it does seem like gas buses are the way forwards at Runcorn though. On a related point, I hope that the Sunday X1 is brought back at some point when this supposed economic recovery starts becoming a bit more noticeable! RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - Arriva3137 - 07/04/2014 16:04 2526 & 2542 have both been on the X1 today RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - Arriva3137 - 14/04/2014 18:54 2426 has re-appeard at Runcorn, just seen it heading out of service to the depot. RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - Arriva3137 - 17/04/2014 20:27 3137 was unusually on the 1/2 this afternoon, and im pretty certain there was a cadet on X1 RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - X782 NWX - 18/04/2014 11:07 A long shot mentioning it here I know but if anyone left a black leather wallet on 5003 on the 82A to Liverpool I've handed it to the driver RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - Arriva3137 - 26/04/2014 12:16 Just seen wythenshawe's 3100 on the 79C in Belle Vale |
