Yes the 575 does at present interwork with the 362. I am unsure how the 362 will be operated once the 575 is a Sapphire. One rumour (and I do stress only a rumour at present) is that the 362 may transfer to St Helens.

Are they upgrading to Sapphire to compete with Firsts 575? I have noticed that it seems to fill the best around Wigan then quickly empty's on its way to Bolton Also I'm guessing they will operate it later in the evening once it becomes Sapphire. Also a lot of customers seem to prefer Firsts 575 I'm guessing this is because they are the dominant Bolton operator with more routes also i think Arriva is more expensive in Greater Manchester compared to both First and stagecoach. First also operate later than Arriva currently.

Im led to believe both routes will still interwork in which case would both be sapphire routes.

Yes Mark I'm led to believe that both 362 & 575 will still be interworked with each other so both routes will indeed be converted to Sapphire Standard
