i thought so too! pending to get rid of 2131,34,2330/31/32! However 2330 apprently to survive

Not sure if it's been reported on here but 3141 due for Chester is down in London on Olympic duties with 3107-3135.

Credit to Moldman72 on the ANW&W Yahoo Group, here's a bit of Chester news.
3142-6 entered service on Monday, with 3141 down at the Olympics. They're already two down, with 3141 as noted and 3146 sustained serious accident damage on it's first day in service as a car was speeding on the wrong side of the road and went straight in to 3146. 3146 may have to go back to Wright for repair. 7533 has finally been withdrawn and it's (very nice, I believe) engine may be donated to 2358. 2570/2 are now at Bangor with 2571 and dart 2359 expected to follow suit.

Not having a great time of it with new deliveries recently are they! SR 720 at St Helens first followed by 3146..... Interestingly though, 720 isn't looking to be going to Optare for repair but instead having it done in house so I do wonder if the same will be the case for 3146.

its only if major parts or components that come under the warranty as to be removed would be required to go back to the dealer,so i guess its all down to hpw bad the damage is thats causef.
