RE: South Lancs Travel - robertclark125 - 29/03/2015 09:23 Given the fact that Preston Bus recently had extra commitments of their own, and no new vehicles have arrived there as of late, is it possible the Esteems could be just on loan until replacement vehicles are sourced? RE: South Lancs Travel - 326VFM - 29/03/2015 17:04 One of Mini Dart heading M6 southbound just pass Knutsford motorway service just before 5pm. I can't see reg number, white on roof and yellow on front and side. CC & Merseytravel have been unable to find an operator willing to operate the 319. RE: South Lancs Travel - CX54 DKD - 30/03/2015 19:05 I'm surprised that Arriva are unwilling to rework their 38s to Ormskirk in return for subsidy. Although that said, it'd probably leave some sections of the current route without a service, meaning current passengers would have to walk further to catch the bus, and it would no doubt interfere with the current arrangement of interworking journeys with the 37. The issue with the 37 is reasonably minor though; previous incarnations of the route have run St Helens - Rainford - St Helens via Eccleston, somewhat obliterating the need for a separate route in the first place. |
