I guess this indicates that 2404 is probably just a loan and will be back at BH shortly.
Does anyone know what the situation is regarding the Speke Cadets and deckers for the 12/13? Would be a great help if anyone knew!
Also, managed to ride new arrival 7626 on my 7 home tonight. Not a bad bus at all, yes it rattles quite a bit but it sounds excellent and has a good turn of speed. Good enough for me!

At least two of the Speke Cadets have been reported as transfers to Wythenshawe: 2544 and 2550. These appear to be in part replacements for the R-CVU Darts based there. I saw at least two of the 07 plates on Speke routes last Saturday, so it remains to be seen where the three of these will go.

It was mentioned ages ago that deckers (namely Enviro400s) were due for the 12/13, then it was mentioned they weren't but no one actually knows 100% what happens.
Cheers for that, presumably 2544/50 are just a couple of many loans to WY and will transfer to GL once this loan finishes. 2520 definitely won't be transferring though as that's gone to Runcorn.

It's one story after another, 10 to Green Lane first, then 10 to Rhyl, and now 8 to Wrexham

Rumours are flying around with regards the Enviro400s at the moment. Ranging from Speke & Rhyl, Speke & Wrexham and even, most recently, Wrexham & Rhyl together with none for Speke. With regards to Green Lane though, I don't think those rumours were ever really founded upon anything and they've certainly not been included in any of the 'current', yet ever changing, plans I've heard.

Regarding Green Lane receiving deckers, the word some months ago was that deckers of some form were due in late 2012/early 2013 in response to complaints of buses leaving people behind. There was nothing at the time to link them with Birkenhead's Enviros and I don't believe this has changed. As regards the future homes of those, I'd agree with Reece in that Speke and Rhyl tie in best with what I've heard.

Some Enviros are DEFINITELY going to Wales, reportedly Wrexham, however it is not yet out of the question that Rhyl are getting some. It is unlikely at this stage that Green Lane will get a share, however Ive heard no confirmation about that yet.
4405 is still in St Helens getting extensive work done, so I wouldn't expect it to end up at its destination before the end of the month.
