No but similar info here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-44418231 RE: TransPennine Express - mikestone - 10/06/2018 14:37 Apparently its still in the google cache. Its disappearance perhaps suggests they haven't had DfT approval? RE: TransPennine Express - knutstransport - 24/07/2018 16:18 TPE have the dubious honour of taking the top two slots on DfT's most overcrowded train list for Autumn 2017: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/728107/top-10-overcrowded-train-services-england-and-wales-autumn-2017.csv/preview RE: TransPennine Express - childwallblues - 25/07/2018 05:05 Given that the figures are published nine months after the event it is probable that they are no longer accurate as the trains no longer stop at Wigan North Western. Autumn figures cover the December 2017 timetable (even though most would claim that's winter), while the Spring figures cover the May 2017 timetable. It's a valid point that TPE stopped calling at Wigan around 2 months ago. However, as the 16:00 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh service now departs slightly later and the number of Manchestrer to Preston via Bolton services have temporarily been reduced, it would well be that TPE are carrying more Preston passengers. The removal of Wigan North Western on some services was because the train was supposedly to be routed via Bolton which couldnt happen due to the delay in electrification. |
