RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - N301 CKB - 10/08/2012 22:37 Dennis Dart 2359 (V580 ECC) & Impera's Volvo Olympian 3317 (R317 LHK) were both in Laird Street today for MOT. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - P450 SWX - 10/08/2012 22:40 V580ECC - Chester Depot -Be nice to see in service at LS but that wont happen RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - V671 DVU - 11/08/2012 09:23 (10/08/2012 20:38)N301 CKB Wrote: Are 4400 & 4401 staying at Laird Street when the rest of the batch move on? (iirc it was mentioned on here that these two are to stay) Yes 4400/1 are supposed to stay, the rest were going to be split between Green Lane and Speke but it looks like Rhyl are getting Green Lane's share for the 12 now. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - CX54 DKD - 11/08/2012 09:50 *cough*Wrexham for the 1 replacing DLAs which are earmarked to be converted for open top use next year*cough* ;-) Realistically, I don't think Green Lane were ever getting a share. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - V671 DVU - 11/08/2012 09:56 Yes I heard that wherever they were going they were replacing DLAs to become open top, it was to my understanding that these would be the Rhyl DLAs currently used on the 12. So is the 1 once again going fully double deck now? RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - CX54 DKD - 11/08/2012 10:45 Should be 8 Enviros moving over to Wrexham releasing the remaining Pulsars for (presumably) Bangor who can then release their Eclipses for Southport and the DLAs for open top duty next season. This is all on the premise that plans remain the same of course but the information comes from reasonably high up in ABW. (iirc it was mentioned on here that these two are to stay) Is there a specific reason why two vehicles from that order of Enviro's would stay behind , wouldnt this just lead to problems like LS have with 4000/1/2 the smaller a fleet the more problems it causes . RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - V671 DVU - 11/08/2012 10:53 4400/1 have leather seats on the bottom deck with "crossriverexpress" headrests.
