Not just that, Its more a case of why keep an unreliable bus such as 7612 which has had numerous break downs and faults on the road futher, forking out futher cash for an extra year or less, or keep older more reliable buses on the road which cost less to maintain

Passing Green Lane late this afternoon on the awful 2406 on the 68, Daf 4058 was parked at the front, I wouldnt have thought it was for service though. Back to 2406, this horrible loud bus stank of Diesel and was very loud, even the guy from Merseytravel doing his surveys mentioned how loud it was, driver kept rolling back as well when he let handbrake off whether it waas his fault or not I don't know.

They are for scrap, with more Dennis Darts due to follow in the coming weeks

It's why every single side destination box on the ALX300s were sealed closed (Bar 2410 which had LED's fitted), rivotted, and some had metal plates trying to stop the rattling.
It failed...

They must be the two that I seen at the back of Green Lane yesterday, looks like 7626 has replaced one of them.

7638 on the 10B along with 2202, not 100% about the latter!
The former looks like crap if Im honest, but sounded rather healthy powering up London Road about 5 mins ago.
