Just walked past 2641 which is on the 487. Noticed the Legal lettering just has "Arriva" as the owner rather than the correct company name.

Dennis Dart SLF 7551, R551 ABA has finished service at Laird Street. Currently at the back of the depot with 7556 parked next to it. I am not sure if 7556 has finished yet, will hopefully find out soon.
Cadet 2433 (if not on the road today) should also be due out and about soon.

So the first of the ABA's to be Withdrawn from the LS fleet is R551 ABA will this be going to any other depot E.G St Helens to cover until newer buses Arrive or is it getting Scraped

Scrapped with some luck, at least 2344/2345 are better than the mtl ones!

For me, the Cadets are absolutely superb buses, especially those which have received P&P. Their ride quality is superb and totally outclasses most of the Darts.
Regarding Darts themselves, I'd say the V-DJCs are decent albeit tired, the T-PNBs mixed with 2314 excellent and 2316 dire. The R-ABAs? Can't stand their drab, tired interiors and appalling ride. Good riddance in my opinion!

In Laird Street there is only 1 or 2 Darts that are any good I would say 7642 and 2345.
The Cadets are ok but some do have some bad faults but there is not a lot you can do about that its just the age showing as these cadets are getting old now 13 Years old if im not Mistaken so they are doing well.

i never got the chance to ride the ABA'S at birkenhead but the ones i rode are bad apart from 7571 i had 2 weeks ago on the 20 in st helens, are the ABA's at birkenhead any good?

I would say 7554 and 7557 are the best of the bunch left at Laird Street.

Not quite 13 years old, they are actually just over 11 1/2 years old, close but no cigar.
