Route EL1 Ormskirk-Edgehill University shuttle will be in operation this sunday (22nd) starting from ormskirk at 7am. This service doesnt normally run of a sunday but the university asked for it to be provided as its what we call welcome sunday the day all the students return from the summer break.

On Saturday I saw from a distance a completely red Scania Omnilink on the East Lancs Road at Golborne just displaying 'South Lancs Travel'.
I'm not a regular around here, and this seemed unusual to me (though I may be wrong).
Does anyone have any details?

An SLT Wright Meridian in 635 route branding was broken down on Dorning St in Wigan. It's now been recovered, however, I couldn't see fleet number or reg.

What time roughly did you see it as it may of been running dead back to there depot after a day on the 319 st helens-rainford/ormskirk.

It was around 17:30 I think -- certainly between 5 and 6pm.
