RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - K853 MTJ - 16/09/2012 04:06 Quite a few pulsars wandering again, seen at least one on the 79C on 2 occasions and one on the 82A over the past week or so. It's really unhelpful, even if it does mean that the driver doesn't have to change over only a short way into the journey. In Coventry, sometimes the 30a and 30c would just display 'Anticlockwise' and 'Clockwise', and you'd sometimes see 'Circular service', which are more useful in my opinion, even if not completely desirable. In Warrington, circulars always give the name of the furthest point away from town that they go to, e.g. Westy on the 1/2, Gainsborough Road on the 11(a), Loushers Lane on the 12(a). This is good from a passenger's point of view: I for one would be confused no end if buses started leaving Warrington Interchange displaying 'Warrington': I'd assume they'd just come in and hadn't changed over yet, or were going out of service. RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - 507022 - 23/09/2012 21:26 New Pulsar 3137 (MX12 KVM) was coming off the Knowsley Expressway and heading along the M62 to Liverpool at 0015 this morning running empty - don't know why though RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - motormayhem - 23/09/2012 21:31 heading into liverpool to operate the N5 night bus liverpool-runcorn RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - 507022 - 23/09/2012 22:10 (23/09/2012 21:31)motormayhem Wrote: heading into liverpool to operate the N5 night bus liverpool-runcorn Thanks for the info MM RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - motormayhem - 24/09/2012 06:59 no probs mate. Other news, 2539 has had a partial repaint, it's faded black W has been repainted aquamarine along with the rest of the front end. No branding or retrim from what I could see. Theres also (at least) 1 refurbed Cadet going around with no branding, possibly DK55 FYM. 09 Pulsars seem to be becoming a regular visitor to Liverpool as well, Ive seen multiple examples on the 79C and particularly the 82A over the last 2 weeks, with 2419 settling in to be a regular on said routes. CX54 Edit: Moved to relevant thread and quote introduced for clarity. RE: Arriva North West - Wythenshawe Depot - V671 DVU - 25/09/2012 15:09 Off topic I know but the Cadet without branding is 2547, haven't got a clue why but it looks odd! RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - K853 MTJ - 25/09/2012 17:02 I agree! (Thanks to CX54 with regards to previous post of mine, didnt realise!) RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - Raawwwrrr! - 27/09/2012 12:19 The white ECOcity demonstator Stagecoach Merseyside had is at Runcorn for driver training.
