RE: The Three Queens Visit - 507022 - 01/04/2015 15:52 The Strand is going to be closed to traffic as well, so that will severely affect the buses that would normally go along there. RE: The Three Queens Visit - YN05 WKE - 29/04/2015 19:10 http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travelling-around/Pages/Bus.aspx According to this Victoria place (Seacombe) be closed and a special park and ride bus from the Dips in New Brighton will run any idea who's operating it RE: The Three Queens Visit - E400 - 15/05/2015 14:48 Just read this on the Echo - it will be interesting to see what happens here with so many people potentially reliant on national train services from Lime Street. Obviously the impact on Merseyrail could also be enormous, but it isn't the be all and end all for local people as they can make alternative arrangements - which will no doubt stretch the bus services beyond their planned potential? http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/three-queens-liverpool-2015-public-9263062 RE: The Three Queens Visit - PO59 MXJ - 20/05/2015 19:03 Extra bus services are being provided on the Bank Holiday Monday by Stagecoach. Not sure if Arriva are as well but I assume they will be as i think its Merseytravel who have asked for extra services to be put on. RE: The Three Queens Visit - motormayhem1 - 20/05/2015 19:32 Arriva are putting extra services on running into liverpool as merseytravel are paying towards drivers wages . RE: The Three Queens Visit - St Helens Rider - 20/05/2015 19:59 They will be needed as it's looking very likely that the trains will be off due to the Network Rail strike. RE: The Three Queens Visit - wirralbus - 20/05/2015 20:17 Highly likely that Merseyrail will not be able to run any services on the Tuesday IF the strike goes ahead . With Tuesday being a working day in Liverpool could be an interesting day at the Mersey Tunnels.
