That really is a first! Any idea which workings it's on? RE: South Lancs Travel - T42 PVM - 12/06/2012 13:18 rainford shorts mate the floline was 68 RE: South Lancs Travel - CX54 DKD - 13/06/2012 14:36 I didn't manage to get out and see the Solar yesterday but luckily, Alan Sansbury has managed to photograph it leaving St Helens on an Ormskirk bound working here. Just wish it was a more common sighting! RE: South Lancs Travel - Nicholas - 16/06/2012 16:32 Changes from 29 July include additional journeys on 126, plus changes to the 300 and 644 (plus also possibly 557). Don't know what these actually entail, I'm just going off what was posted on the GM Buses Yahoo group. RE: South Lancs Travel - thomasl1231 - 16/06/2012 20:38 That ex-Strawberry step-entrance Dart thing was on the 581 today! :O RE: South Lancs Travel - T42 PVM - 16/06/2012 21:31 (16/06/2012 20:38)thomasl1231 Wrote: That ex-Strawberry step-entrance Dart thing was on the 581 today! :O thats true but there are 2 step darts with SLT being ex strawberry RE: South Lancs Travel - South Lancs Travel - 16/06/2012 22:13 (16/06/2012 21:31)bolton bus basher Wrote:(16/06/2012 20:38)thomasl1231 Wrote: That ex-Strawberry step-entrance Dart thing was on the 581 today! :O Correction... one step Dart - bus 10 was withdrawn about three weeks ago. Bus 11 is due to be withdrawn at the end of the school term. Bus 31 is also withdrawn. Buses 20 and 24 are due to re-enter service over the coming weeks. A brief summary of the changes from 29 July: 126 - frequency increased to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, with revised afternoon peak to improve reliability. Additional early journey introduced (aimed at Trafford Centre workers). Hourly Sunday and Bank Holiday service introduced. 300 - 'school holiday only' journeys will also operate on schooldays. Will hopefully be converted to double-deck operation. 574 - short journeys to Markland Hill withdrawn. 581 - short journeys to Morris Green withdrawn. 634 - Will serve The Grove and Greenfield Avenue in Ince. There are other changes which are currently being processed - I'll say more when they've been published. Any services I've not mentioned above (including the 319) are ones I'll tell you about over the next couple of weeks. Chris. RE: South Lancs Travel - T42 PVM - 16/06/2012 22:16 now the 126 will be good as i know its failed twice in the past the thats the past and everything has changed since he last time, i really do think it will last this time and i will make sure i will use it myself |
