RE: Chiltern Railways - childwallblues - 05/10/2016 05:06 Body shell wise yes but other than that I do not know. RE: Chiltern Railways - childwallblues - 04/01/2017 18:33 68010 has been named Oxford Flyer. RE: Chiltern Railways - Metroline1511 - 26/02/2017 23:05 Chiltern have a small fleet of class 172s for local London Marylebone - Gerrard's Cross workings. I wonder whether they run on Saturdays? I hope so, as I should be in the area in July. RE: Chiltern Railways - Metroline1511 - 06/01/2018 20:20 Further to my post just above, I have been very lucky! On Saturday December 23rd I caught the 8.11 from Oxford to Haddenham & Thame Parkway, worked by a refurbished 168. I then returned to Oxford on the 9.41 from Haddenham, and it worked by a double 172! Not in my wildest dreams did I imagine examples reaching Oxford, especially on a Saturday. It is interesting that such units are sometimes coupled to make 6-carriage trains. RE: Chiltern Railways - knutstransport - 19/01/2021 17:07 Marylebone station workers illegally entered a premises and held a party breaking lockdown restrictions, some of the attendees were supposed to be working a shift at the time! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55717243 RE: Chiltern Railways - SNL 824 - 20/01/2021 00:46 (19/01/2021 17:07)knutstransport Wrote: Marylebone station workers illegally entered a premises and held a party breaking lockdown restrictions, some of the attendees were supposed to be working a shift at the time!
