Although EYMS are closing the bus operations of Whittle tonight, they are selling the coach operations to Johnsons, believed due for completion around January 10th.

The first known takeover of 2015 is D&G taking over Bakerbus in the Stoke-on-Trent area. http://www.route-one.net/industry/dg-buys-bakerbus/

We are recently seen an increase in takeovers. In the last 4 months or so we have had HCT Group buy MCT, Transdev buy Rosso, Rotala buy Central Buses (and Hotel Hoppa from National Express) and now Comfort DelGro buy New Adventure Travel Group. Maybe some are selling up while they know they can still get good offers?

I notice that there have been no recent sales of privatised operations ie ex-NBC/SBG/LBL/PTC/municipals.

The only takeovers I can think of announced so far in 2019 are Go-Ahead buying First Manchester QR depot and Reading Buses buying Courtney Buses.

Have any others slipped under the radar?
