RE: Warrington Coachways - M60lad - 16/01/2013 08:47 I can actually see Warrington Coachways doing well on this route considering most if not all of their staff are friendly and reliable, I've travel on their 37/38 services off and on from Altrincham-Warrington and all their drivers I've come across are friendly and I've often had a chat with them RE: Warrington Coachways - Valandil - 25/01/2013 16:18 (16/01/2013 08:47)M60lad Wrote: I can actually see Warrington Coachways doing well on this route considering most if not all of their staff are friendly and reliable, I've travel on their 37/38 services off and on from Altrincham-Warrington and all their drivers I've come across are friendly and I've often had a chat with them Thanks to St Helens Rider on the VOSA thread for the following about Coachways's 33 starting on Monday: PC1031921/13 - WARRINGTON COACHWAYS LTD, ATHLONE RD, WARRINGTON, WA2 8JJ Registration Accepted by SN Starting Point: COLLINS GREEN, PENNY LANE Finish Point: WARRINGTON BUS INTERCHANGE Via: BURTONWOOD, WESTBROOK Service Number: 33 Service Type: Normal Stopping Effective Date: 28-JAN-2013 Other Details: Mondays to Saturdays except public holidays. I agree that they will probably run the service well, but I don't think that passenger numbers are going to be anything to shout about, that's for sure! I reckon they might interwork the 33 with the Altrincham routes, as one hour to Collins Green and back might be quite tight, going via Westbrook, Gemini and Burtonwood. Coachways currently gives quite a lot of layover to drivers: I might be wrong, but they seem to keep allocate five vehicles during the day, so at pretty much any one time, one is on 37 outbound, one on 38 outbound, one on 37 inbound, one on 38 inbound, and one having a bit of a rest. RE: Warrington Coachways - T42 PVM - 25/01/2013 21:35 am glad to see its true they got the service as this is a company i only hear good things about, i hope they put the same effort into this service as they do with the others and good luck to them as well RE: Warrington Coachways - RSTurbo50 - 27/01/2013 11:30 What services do they operate? RE: Warrington Coachways - St Helens Rider - 27/01/2013 17:14 They also run the 256 between Ashton and Garswood. |
