RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - mikestone - 20/09/2018 15:43 But did that come from the source that assured us the Watford Tunnel units were write-offs? RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - boby32 - 15/10/2018 09:47 Class 172002 has been transferred to WMT. I am not sure if this has been mentioned befored. IIRC it transferred to WMT a few months ago RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - childwallblues - 16/10/2018 06:21 Correct. It was the spare train for the Gospel Oak to Barking line and if one fails now there is no back up. RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - boby32 - 16/10/2018 09:29 Has 172002 been in service yet? RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - knutstransport - 16/10/2018 09:38 172002 and the other LO 172s are supposed to get toilets fitted before they enter service with WMT. RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - boby32 - 16/10/2018 10:54 The class 172/0 (172001-172008) will be used on the Coventry–Nuneaton line. Since service only needs ONE diagram, I assume that the other remaining 7 will be used somewhere else. RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - boby32 - 16/10/2018 17:44 Class 350/2 could be converted to bi-mode. https://www.globalrailnews.com/2018/10/16/porterbrook-makes-case-for-battery-electric-bi-mode-conversion/ RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - mikestone - 16/10/2018 20:04 (16/10/2018 10:54)boby32 Wrote: The class 172/0 (172001-172008) will be used on the Coventry–Nuneaton line. Coventry-Nuneaton is supposed to go half-hourly, with one going through to Leamington despite NR previously insisting that hell would freeze over before that would be possible. RE: West Midlands Trains - WMR & LNR - boby32 - 30/10/2018 10:43 The delivery of class 230 on the Marston Vale line will be delayed. http://vivarail.co.uk/vivarail-official-statement-marston-vale-line/ |
