Even if Arriva win the franchise for Bootle they are likely to have to run LCR ordered buses rather than their own.

I suspect any Pulsars released from St Helens (there are none at Birkenhead), will either likely go to Runcorn, or leave the area completely.....

When Aintree Racecourse have a meeting on, all bus routes in the area are on diversion, thinking is it feasible to erect a bus lane in both directions on the Ormskirk Road, from Switch Island to Aintree station?

It is a good idea, but not feasible due to the amount of traffic wanting to turn left into Adda and the Retail Park further on.
