Perhaps someone can wake up the Labour Party. I wonder whether he can make inroads into Boris Johnson some are saying he is too boring and a bit monotone.

Keir Starmer's Deputy will be Angela Rayner .

In some alarming news tonight from Germany tonight .

The Covid R rate in that country has risen from 1.79 to 2.88

The R rate is the reproduction rate , it means that for every 1 person there is a possibility that 1.79 to 2.88 will be infected.

It now looks likely in the next few weeks that Face coverings are going to become mandatory in shops as well as on public transport.

I think while the public are wearing face masks the economy will be very slow and stilted , also in the longer term the Recession we are entering is going to be very slow and quite long.

From what I can see from my shopping experience today from bigger shops I went to; the one-way system isn't aways possible (found that people where bunched up together in a clothing retailer), and that some stores (like a well known supermarket) are removing the one-way systems that makes the 2m distancing impossible to follow when got other people coming your way.

Fortunately I was wearing a facial covering as I did take the bus (using the quieter times so socially distancing), otherwise I would have left without getting shopping.

Think the economy is going to hammered for a good two years , nothing will ever be the same again.

It shown one thing the health service needs a very large amount of money even to standstill and a much larger amount of money again if there is a second spike . The second spike may well be a mix of the coronavirus and the flu virus .

It is of course a coincidence that these are the remaining areas of the north west with a First depot or outstation. Hammer
