RE: Warrington's Own Buses - Y458 KNF - 20/07/2023 16:04 Will extra vehicles need to be acquired to cover the extra PVR? would assume so from September at least. RE: Warrington's Own Buses - Valandil - 24/07/2023 11:51 The extended X5 and Cat5 mostly just have 5 minutes off between their 3-hour runs, so no surprise that some vehicles have been getting a bit behind time. While it isn't necessarily true just because it's on BusTimes, this X5 appears to have terminated at the cemetery: https://bustimes.org/vehicles/wbtr-217?date=2023-07-24#journeys/455129433 RE: Warrington's Own Buses - knutstransport - 24/07/2023 18:12 (24/07/2023 11:51)Valandil Wrote: While it isn't necessarily true just because it's on BusTimes, this X5 appears to have terminated at the cemetery: There's no tracking for a 09:52 to Warrington, even one starting short. The same vehicle later tracked on the 12:30 Runcorn to Warrington 62 service, but only from Moore Six Acre Lane 40 minutes behind schedule. It appears CH04 CAT started that journey on time from Runcorn but only got as far as Moore. RE: Warrington's Own Buses - knutstransport - 28/07/2023 14:47 I think something may have happened in the Hale Barns area today. Time keeping on certain X5 and D&G 88 journeys seems to have gone out of the window. RE: Warrington's Own Buses - W176 XMA - 28/07/2023 15:12 5 Volvo B9TLs have arrived from Selwyns, ex Isle of Man 320 - DK09 NRN 321 - DK09 NRO 322 - DK09 NRU 323 - DK09 NSZ 324 - WU09 BCZ RE: Warrington's Own Buses - MCTransport - 28/07/2023 22:37 So of course the Versa Hybrids have all now been decommissioned, but it makes me wonder how long they will keep the diesel ones for? I have heard rumours these are to also go soon, however I'm not sure how true these are! RE: Warrington's Own Buses - Valandil - 30/07/2023 23:12 Great to get more deckers, but again just wonder why they can't hold on until all the new vehicles are delivered next year. RE: Warrington's Own Buses - Valandil - 04/08/2023 13:35 Announcement about withdrawal of 62(A): https://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk/62-62a-warringtonruncorn-withdrawal Could just be an attempt to get increased funding. Or perhaps another operator with lower costs will take it on, as has happened with the Saturday service. |
