Been informed this morning that slt and scania have come to an agreement to modernise slt fleet with new scanias and 2 as already been collected with more on there way.

Sorry he never said what type,as all i got told is that 2 drivers got sent to crewe over the weekend with 2 mpd's to exchange them with 2 new buses as was told they where scanias as slt and scania have agreed to renew and modernise some of the fleet but im only going to beleive it when i see it as just take it with a pinch of salt till the new buses are seen.

According to form there not brand new as the person who told was meant to say new to them but they are suppose to be 04 plated ex airport buses and not as many as orignally told.

If they are 04 reg then they will be the 3 that D & G have.

D&G are due new buses very soon from what I've seen elsewhere so looks like SLT are getting the displaced Scanias.

Are these the Scanias that D&G currently use on 85 Hanley-Crewe service, if so I won't surprise me as SLT have already got a couple of these Scania Omnicities in the fleet already, I'm wondering whether the new buses for D&G will be new ones to replace these on the 84 service
