No idea where this comment has come from, 2642, 2699 and 2700 are all still in service. A PVR reduction next month may see that change.
2698 is also still off the road, unclear if it will be wrote off or not I’m told.

Looking like the new 61 timetable is not working most are running around 30min late with one running over 50 minutes just now toward Runcorn
Talking to a driver this morning he said it is now a joint Merseytravel/Halton Council tendered service and they have set the running time's

Are they still hoping to up the frequency on the 61 again in the future?
I know it was mentioned that they were intending to provide funding in the future, but that just couldn't come in in time for the recent service changes.

VDL Commander 2623 is now gone and based in Southport depot.
