I wonder if the use of lower-numbered examples is temporary, or if the division of the batch between Green Lane and Speke will now be different from what was originally envisaged?

There's still another three hybrids due for delivery with 4847/8 the most recent arrivals and they're not ready for service yet. 4840, 4849 and 4850 are still oustanding so once all of 4840/4847-50 are ready then the lower numbered ones should go over to Speke ahead of their entry to service on the 79/79D next Monday

4841 has broke down at Queen Square Bus Station, RNW is in attendance but tow truck blocking entire inbound bus lane
