The ex Reading Optare Solo B10PTL entered service yesterday on routes 41 & 42 to Wrexham Industrial Estate.

B10PTL was in Wrexham bus station parked up around half 8 in the evening

YJ09EZK the Shoppa Hoppa Solo was sighted by me Yesterday working the 7's in Ellesmere Port...so the 101 must of ended now i guess? didnt get a photo as i was on the bus.

It came to an end the other day. i take it you didnt notice if it was still branded?

Yeah it was still 101 branded it did come past my bus as i said..but yeah still got all its 101 Branding Smile would of got a photo if i wasnt on the bus

It was on the 16.45 40 service to Mold and 18.00 return this evening.

V220 MEV has moved to Middlewich Depot and was on the new contract Reasheath-Wittal today, Passing through Lieghton, Winsford, Whitegate, Helsby, and then finally to Eastham

Just a minor point - there is no Middlewich depot. It has closed. Work was moved to the new Winsford depot. In view of the end point of the journey - it is possible this vehicle will work out of Tarvin.

The following two mini buses were acquired but were found to be unsuitable for the contract and were placed on E-Bay. Both appear to have been sold although the former was still at Ruabon earlier this week

Three Solos have recently arrived -

V395KVY ex Stagecoach West (believed to require replacement engine)
YJ59NMX ex Hayfordian, Bicester (has received specialist chassis repair and is to receive a new front before being prepared for service)

Ex R S Travel RIL9160 [E321FPE] believed to be one of the first production Dennis Javelins (chassis no 3) was put up for sale on E-Bay but was not sold and has now left the fleet believed to have gone for scrap.

6052VT, 7239VT and VT03VLT ACI coach bodied MB's have had their Vale Travel logos removed and are now operating with GHA Coaches legals. - photos VT03VLT 7239VT 6052VT

ex Dobsons 70 seater Leyland TRCL10.3ARZA/ Plaxton J935CYK has received GHA (Silver) livery

Following the cessation of the 101 Shoppa Hoppa - the Council Owned Solo YJ09EZK is now often found working the Ceiriog Valley service and will in due course lose its 101 branding. YJ06YRL which is not Council owned will now revert to other services.

Funding for the X9 and 9 group of services has been reduced resulting in a new timetable which only requires a PVR of 2. Dart SK52UTT and one of the Line 9 liveried Eclipses will receive fleet livery in due course and see other duties. The Dart has often been recently seen working the 5/X5 diagram

There is the Timetables link one has the Operator name bit confusing tbh why they have not changed the operator
