RE: Warrington's Own Buses - knutstransport - 09/09/2021 19:58 If you thought Warrington's planning for the Tour of Britain was bad, what about Cheshire East closing roads in Knutsford town centre to coincide with school finishing times. Councils are more bothered about getting extra customers for local businesses than ensuring the local council taxpayers have access to essential services. D&G didn't even publicise that their services would be affected by the Tour of Britain. Did the council even think to tell them about the road closures? How are these 'extra customers' going to get into the towns with no access? How many normal customers are put off by the lack of access and do the 'extra' make up for the reduction in 'normal'. RE: Warrington's Own Buses - Y458 KNF - 13/09/2021 17:21 I’ve noticed that the Versas branded for the 32 appear to be going on different routes is the branding being dropped? Of course not, but "we" must not upset the cycling lobby. . RE: Warrington's Own Buses - Valandil - 15/09/2021 13:04 Some journeys were permanently removed from timetables as of 9th September: https://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk/minor-service-change-9th-september The messages about 20/21 operating as "through" services in non-stop loops are also back. RE: Warrington's Own Buses - knutstransport - 16/09/2021 08:42 Seems their vehicles aren't tracking his morning. A few operators seem to be having tracking issues this morning RE: Warrington's Own Buses - knutstransport - 17/09/2021 12:09 Seems at present the bus running the first 47 run to Knutsford comes off the CAT6 and runs empty from Warrington to Lymm, which seems a bit pointless! However, at the moment the one off the afternoon 47 run to Knutsford is going on a Lymm High contract, as per the original intention. In the last academic year it was going on to a school contract in the Altrincham area. I've also just seen a picture of 185 on Flickr, it looks a bit like an Arriva vehicle was the all-over advertising including some turquoise.
