Some of the recently acquired ex Metroline Enviro 400s may originally have worked route 17 or 43 to London Bridge. Idea

From Bustimes, there are also the following now:
315 SN11 BPZ
316 SN11 BRF
317 LJ08 CYP

Incidentally, these are showing up as having X43 Upton Rocks put onto their displays so far, which might be being used as a test when checking/updating displays because it's also appeared on a number of other vehicles in quick succession.

Disruption to services just seems to be going on and on, with Warrington's Twitter feed showing cancellation after cancellation.
It's pretty unfortunate that hourly and contracted services have been getting dropped.

The new website has arrived:
http://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk
I think the new website is better than many others in the industry.
There is also a new app.

Looks good. At the opposite end of the scale is the Preston Bus website http://www.prestonbus.co.uk/ which appears as a 15 year old design and full of old info like the Skipton 280 route

It’s a template design my friend - Transdev, Blackpool, Reading, Dundee, WestCoast/Borders all use the same provider for their sites.

i like that the network map also includes other operators.

RE: Warrington's Own Buses - Valandil - 10/08/2021 06:03

Yeah, it's good that the network map has been updated and I'm sure including other operators is preparation for the new rules coming in about including other operators on network maps.
Just have to hope that the information is kept up-to-date in the future.

The network map is branded as a Warrington Council map, rather than a Warrington's Own Buses map.

I do think it's a shame it doesn't show the limited 47 service through Thelwall, given it follows a different route to the CAT5. Also a shame there isn't a second borough wide one which includes places like Lymm, perhaps with a less zoomed in view of central Warrington.
