Bit of a strange story. The lady intended to board a 471 with her sheep and pony, diamond got wind of it and instructed drivers not to stop. One of the ‘directors’ apparently drove down, spoke to her, made a phone call and an out of service bus quickly turned up and picked the protesters and animals up and whisked them to Bury all in front of the reporters. The director whoever it was refused to be on camera.

That makes more sense, I thought there were a high number of unoccupied seats on that bus. From her account it sounds like the driver of a few buses refused to pick them up and then the next one did. I'm not sure what the TC would have said had it been a bus in service, you can exactly exit the bus quickly in an emergency if there's a sheep and a horse blocking the aisle!

Does anyone know if 20871 is tracking as another vehicle? It hasn't tracked since December and I still require it, has something else has happened to it.

Possibly off the road. The only SR I see regularly is the one with the tiny front destination that’s impossible to read.

20026 MX08 MZG was involved in a crash with another vehicle on The Quays, Salford Quays last night operating the 29. Going off the age that might be the end of that bus.

It’s a bad area for Diamond. One of their SR’s was involved in a bad smash with a Stagecoach Hybrid last summer outside the alchemist.

Eccles based Enviro200 30977 is working out of Bolton today on a 533 local. Last week 30962 & 31414 did the same.

Not unusual for Eccles vehicles to end up on Bolton routes
