They'll have a Euro 6 engine but essentially they'll be the same mechanically as the Crossriver Hybrids.
One thing to note is the B5LH chassis is now available in a long wheelbase version, whereas it wasn't in 2013, so I would imagine the new hybrids will be on the LWB chassis for maximum capacity.

I'm not sure to be honest. My guess is that if the order was for diesel powered deckers instead of the hybrids then it would have been Enviro400s

Thank you for your clarity SL64. On a national basis, we can be pleased about the contrast of Liverpool gaining these Volvos while Leicester for example has recently received Enviro 400-MMCs!

ticks the green boxes,nice and cheap for Arriva with the grant they will get towards the purchase, and 38 seats only 6 less than a pulsar, and 26/27 only needs deckers on match days

Yes that's very true, but I've seen the 26/27 during school chucking out time.
I'm sure they'll go down well with the regular users, though. :-)

I believe it's 4693-4718 for Green Lane and 4719-4743 for Speke
