RE: Diamond Bus North West - WWH44L - 03/04/2021 07:55 Looks like the final batch of Streetdecks are starting to be delivered as expected. It looks like 40805-8 BX21 DFC-F are the four due for Preston with 40809 MX21 ARZ onwards for Bolton. RE: Diamond Bus North West - WWH44L - 21/04/2021 11:16 So from an official resource, the following are now at Eccles; 30975,31401/8/11/14/15 with the following moving to Bolton in reserve; 20675/20727/20798/20810/11/29/30/31. Of these, at least 20675/20810/11/31 have since been in service at Bolton. I've physically seen both 20675/20811 on the 533 this week and 20810/31 are tracking on Bolton routes on Bus Times. This is before the phantom fleet changer moves back the update I’ll make on the Quack fleet list. I noticed someone has already made assumptions and withdrawn a raft when some are officially in reserve. The following is the Eccles allocation which came from Simon Dunn, it includes 31407 too but this has not been tracked in service since 5th April so may move at a later date: 20054 20157 20158 20160 20166 20173 20185 20187 20188 20404 20405 20676 20677 20720 20724 20726 20777 20778 20780 20792 20793 20795 20797 20815 20819 20841 20844 20856 20871 20872 20873 20874 20918 20921 20989 21200 21201 21202 21203 21221 21222 30102 30141 30142 30975 31401 31407 31408 31411 31414 31415 Also, 69145/53 are the latest to be given Preston livery and are fully lettered up. Find this strange I didnt think Bolton would want older vehicles unless Eccles need newer vehicles for tenders. I expect they'll only get used if they're needed although they could be useful to cover for newer vehicles being repainted RE: Diamond Bus North West - Mayneway - 21/04/2021 15:09 (21/04/2021 13:25)SK15 GZG Wrote: I expect they'll only get used if they're needed although they could be useful to cover for newer vehicles being repainted I’ve noticed quite a few elderly and rather shabby Solo’s out on 163’s over the last few days. RE: Diamond Bus North West - Citibus - 21/04/2021 15:19 Are Bolton operating the 171/172 with it all being double decker operation so far? You'd think that Eccles would be the depot due to proximity to the route. If so does this mean Eccles cannot operate double deckers currently perhaps for training or depot capacity reason? Unsure on the reasons but you can see off the tracking that buses start and finish in Bolton. Appears the Enviro200s are being used solely on the 20, not sure if fully Eccles operated or just part. Eccles run the 20, seem to have sent the 20 there since Diamond took the 171/172 and allocated 171/172 to Bolton RE: Diamond Bus North West - Y458 KNF - 21/04/2021 20:42 (21/04/2021 18:52)bgbus21 Wrote: Eccles run the 20, seem to have sent the 20 there since Diamond took the 171/172 and allocated 171/172 to Bolton I’m sure some Eccles routes could be run by Bolton if they wanted to such as the services around Leigh I wouldn’t be surprised if the 607 goes to another operator in time since Diamond have largely left the Wigan area |
