This is a strange because overall the route is 4 buses an hour , but the route from Arrowe Park to St Hilarys Brow is still 6 buses an hour with the extra 2 buses on the 414 included .

When I was in Wirral today, I was surprised to see a Gemini on the 495 and two hybrids on the 407 in succession.
These can't be regular allocations can they?
(NB: I'm not a regular here).

Anything and everything goes on the 495, and if my memory is correct the 407 interworks with the heswall QBPs, so if I'm correct the hybrids would make sense.

Been to Wirral today and noted; MPD 819 on service 418 while, B7TL 4200 is on service 495 carrying air. Surely it would have made sence for 819 to have been allocated to the 495? Now I undersand there must be a huge bus shortage, but the B7 could have been taken off the 495 and swapped with 819.
4202 and 3126 are on 407/471/472. 4002 is also on 492.

To be honest it then all depends on school chuck out times whether the B7TL and the MPD are on the correct routes . Dont forget the schools that these services pass.

It's been said before on here, the 492/5 route is an any bus in the depot route, as it is the easiest route to take buses off as it passes the depot every hour. These buses may be for emergency rail work/ Private Hire / Mersey Ferries / covering for another bus having work done in the depot.

that and 2316 where at the back of the yard with the myllenium last week so looks like its for service
