AFAIK they have cancelled the project. There is a massive "land for sale" sign up.

The last I heard on the situation was the letter we got about planning permission so unless thats gone tits up I don't know. Every one in the local area is still expecting the unit from Fazakerley to move there.

Just reading up on google and planning passed with out any obligations. However the new hospital will not cover the whole of the site so maybe that is were the land for sale comes in.

Just as well as I didn't purchase an Impera Day Ticket this morning isn't it, good job I opted for the SaveAway.

If i remember rightly Mr Steens saying that he was having problems getting drivers for the 30 of which he tried to cancel the registration before it even started but had been told he had to start the serviceas per VOSA registration , I think he wouldnt have had a problem if he hadnt also won the Merseytravel tenders in Liverpool.
Anyway it will be back to normal on 12th September when the 30 is offically withdrawn.
