Corrections appreciated but here goes; The 195 that had the derailment on Downhill Sidings has gone back to CAF at Newport so may be back after the rest are delivered RE: Northern Trains Ltd - B10B6514 - 07/03/2020 22:23 142078 was being stabled at Southport on Platform 6 today by itself. RE: Northern Trains Ltd - knutstransport - 19/03/2020 20:51 Northern will now be announcing daily planned cancellations, with affected services being advertised as non-operational the evening before https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/ RE: Northern Trains Ltd - knutstransport - 22/03/2020 11:25 Based on what's coming up in RTT from next week Northern are cancelling over 50% of services on routes where they have no yet announced cancellations RE: Northern Trains Ltd - ant17612 - 04/04/2020 16:29 142058 and 142078 have moved to Blackburn King Street for ‘Warm Storage’. RE: Northern Trains Ltd - childwallblues - 06/04/2020 06:38 150001 and 150002 have arrived at Newton Heath from the GWR for service. This should see thelast of the Pacers withdrawn RE: Northern Trains Ltd - knutstransport - 06/04/2020 08:49 (06/04/2020 06:38)childwallblues Wrote: 150001 and 150002 have arrived at Newton Heath from the GWR for service. This should see thelast of the Pacers withdrawn Given Northern are running less than 50% of services on most routes in the past couple of weeks, have they been using any Pacers in recent days? Also does anyone know how the change of operator and COVID-19 has affected the refurbishment programme for the Sprinters? RE: Northern Trains Ltd - wirralbus - 06/04/2020 09:19 I would most operators could run there service on a half fleet even with the social distancing in place , so suspect that pacers could easily go to warm storage for onward disposal or preservation without being used again.
