the open top service will be change route and timetable with every other bs going to town is this true. Why is it not going to pensarn

To be fair that's quite logical considering patronage on that part of the route is considerably poor.

To be fair I travelled on the 1 3 days a week and the pensarn - rhyl bit seemed the busiest

The most used part of the route is actually Towyn to Presthaven Sands.
