RE: WBT Network Warrington - M60lad - 08/05/2013 06:30 The only route the next stop interior displays actually work and should work on from what I believe is the Centerlink 101 service and I'm sure I've actually seen it work on the route when a friend of mine has been on the route RE: WBT Network Warrington - Valandil - 08/05/2013 06:39 (08/05/2013 06:30)M60lad Wrote: The only route the next stop interior displays actually work and should work on from what I believe is the Centerlink 101 service and I'm sure I've actually seen it work on the route when a friend of mine has been on the route Oh right! They could probably do with getting them working at least on the routes they're very often found on (like 4a, 6, 7a, 7c). As a customer, you'd expect things like this either to be there and fully working, or just not to be there at all. RE: WBT Network Warrington - Valandil - 09/05/2013 23:33 There are some alterations to services 5, 6, 7, 15 and 18a with effect from the 20th of this month. You can find details and new timetables (not all of which seem to reflect the changes indicated as yet) here: http://www.warringtonboroughtransport.co.uk/news.html RE: WBT Network Warrington - M60lad - 24/05/2013 20:45 Had it confirmed earlier on today by a driver friend of mine that from next Tuesday and every Tuesday and Friday after that for 22 weeks Network Warrington are going to be operating 47 Warrington-Lymm service. More info is on Network Warringtons website:http://www.warringtonboroughtransport.co.uk/news.html RE: WBT Network Warrington - motormayhem - 25/05/2013 14:44 There open top decker (149 P411 SWC) is driving around the bus station today, looks really nice imo. RE: WBT Network Warrington - motormayhem - 25/05/2013 16:33 Is it rare for a decker to make it out on the 20/21 orfords as just seen trident 154 on there. It is surprisingly rare: 20/21 are pretty much exclusively Cadet/Eclipse-operated. I've never seen a Gem on either route. RE: WBT Network Warrington - M60lad - 26/05/2013 07:06 Shame Open Top 149 hadn't been drafted into service considering how nice it was yesterday, can think of a few routes it could have been used on, as for seeing a decker on Orfords (20/21) I thought it had to be single deck operated due to a low-bridge on the route RE: WBT Network Warrington - motormayhem - 26/05/2013 09:13 Unsure what the route is on the orfords but 154 was deffo on there as seen it twice, but fairbrothers use deckers on there orfords dont they or do they go a different way. RE: WBT Network Warrington - Valandil - 26/05/2013 10:09 Yep, it is feasible to have a decker on those routes, and demonstrably so. The Fairbrothers route is slightly different (not serving Orford Jubilee Park), but not so as to avoid a low bridge or anything. There is a low bridge on the 20a/21a route, but this isn't a problem as no 20a/21a journeys are Mon-Sat daytime. |
