RE: Northern Trains Ltd - knutstransport - 20/01/2021 11:45 150s being used on the Mid-Cheshire line today (in 4 carriage sets) are 150106, 150107, 150108 & 150109. Unusual for all the trains being used on a line to have consecutive numbers! RE: Northern Trains Ltd - knutstransport - 20/01/2021 18:16 Seems the weather conditions have meant Northern have effectively shut up shop on some routes. Replacement buses running between Liverpool and Manchester but on some routes passengers are left stranded. RE: Northern Trains Ltd - 313201 - 20/01/2021 19:34 If it's of any consolation we're not having much luck here in wirral with quite a bit of the merseyrail network not in use because of the weather RE: Northern Trains Ltd - ant17612 - 10/02/2021 17:45 Does anyone know if 195021 has returned from accident damage as of yet? RE: Northern Trains Ltd - knutstransport - 12/02/2021 18:17 Posted on another thread May 2021 service reductions: * Manchester to Buxton - service remains hourly at off-peak times * Stoke to Manchester Piccadilly - reduced number of peak time extras * Mid-Cheshire line - no peak time extras. * Manchester Victoria to Kirkby via Atherton - no service. Wigan to Kirkby added to Blackburn to Wigan service. * Liverpool to Warrington Bank Quay - service withdrawn. * Rose Hill Marple line - hourly service with extra services some hours. Both stopping and express services on Warrington Central line to return to full pre-COVID daytime timetable, late Liverpool to Manchester Airport via Warrington services still missing. RE: Northern Trains Ltd - St Helens Rider - 12/02/2021 21:38 I notice also Liverpool - Wigan stoppers are staying Hourly which with the withdrawal of the Warrington BQ service means a reduction in frequency of the stoppers between Liverpool and Huyton and thus further reduction between Huyton and Earlestown which aside from the peak extras (to Manchester Victoria), will be hourly. RE: Northern Trains Ltd - iMarkeh - 13/02/2021 04:22 I predict some big issues when lockdown lifts as people start returning, it may lead to overcrowding and Northern won't have enough people route and unit trained to put the extra services back in at short notice if people return quickly.
