RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - RedPanda - 28/02/2018 07:17 With the cadets more or less due to be withdrawn next it the north west/wales fleet along with the lowlanders at bangor, it wouldn’t suprise me if it has been withdrawn and used as a donor vehicle to the remaining fleet of cadets. Some of you may have thought a 54 reg to be withdrawn but cadets at runcorn (55 plate) are really nakerd and would be more cost effective for the business. Anything is possible as well as it being a pool bus. I think it is more likely a pool bus too. RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - Raawwwrrr! - 28/02/2018 22:04 (27/02/2018 21:37)MPTE1955 Wrote: Really, at just 12 1/2 years old. To be fair the X8**AJA batch of Wright Crusader 2's were withdrawn around a similar age, with only some retained in service at Arriva Scotland, to replace older high-floor vehicles. As were a few darts, 7642 springs to mind for example. Think it's Sapphire and gas buses that operate the X1. RE: Arriva North West - Runcorn Depot - M60lad - 13/03/2018 08:01 How often do Runcorn's Gas Buses get onto 110 these days, I only ask as I saw one on there on Sunday evening and it was first time I'd seen a Gas Bus on 110 as in the past its usually been either Pulsars or Cadets. Mainly cadet operated but normally has at least one gas bus and one sapphire on at anyone time.
