According to a mate of mine at Bolton the 126/132 were never at Bolton only the VH1, 382, 44 evening and Sunday 197, evening 7’s and evening 328/329.

That explains why I’ve seen evening 7s and 329s running around empty, but with “bus full” as the destination all last week- presumably some of Bolton’s buses aren’t programmed for them yet.

Apparently there’s one driver on the Stockport rota who constantly drives around with the interior lights off and ‘bus full’ on the blind - draw your own conclusions as to why.

To be honest that was my first thought, but then I decided it was too cynical... however in retrospect several of my sightings were of the same driver. Irritating if true.

So, routes 44, 179, & 312 are to be withdrawn. Route 7, 197, 328 & 329 journeys are returning to Stagecoach (or in a handful of cases withdrawn).
I wonder whether Diamond or a more local operator, in particular Stagecoach, will run route 382 or new route 323?
I reckon Diamond will retain route 18 as they already run route 272.

If you read the agenda again you will see that diamond actually loose more than you have listed above.
But in answer to your question given the difficulties they have had running these tenders in Stockport and the amount of huge dead mileage I can’t see them going for it. The 18 yes possibly.

Diamond Eccles depot has recently received an ex Preston Bus Mellor that previously served the "Ribble Valley Network"
The one that has come is 21201 LM18UWW
