It just shows that depots CAN fix buses when they really want to, such as in this situation (if correct).(18/03/2013 18:50)3111 Wrote: Well, they must be doing something right to it as it's been reported in service twice in one week (firstly by myself).Well obviously they have no choice but to fix it as it is needed in service.. if they left it off the road like they wanted to there would be no point having it here at all! Id imagine theyve used parts off that scrap DLA at the back to make 4025 roadworthy rather than spend anything on it. Either that or bodge it up like its former depots did.. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - 507022 - 18/03/2013 21:54 DLA 4143 was on the 472 this afternoon RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - M113 YKC - 18/03/2013 22:13 (18/03/2013 21:54)507022 Wrote: DLA 4143 was on the 472 this afternoonHow is that newsworthy? RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - T42 PVM - 19/03/2013 13:04 DLA's are regularly on there these days, noted the odd pulsar on there recently as well. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - wirralbus - 19/03/2013 13:23 Both should be a thing of the past soon when these hybrids start work , time for the 471/2 QBP to be entirely double deck operated and relegate the single deckers to non tunnel work and the 487/8. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - moreton407 - 20/03/2013 19:41 4000 seen in Crosshall Street this afternoon, with three mechainics looking under the bonnet! Would have been more worthwhile posting if it was actually in service! The 3 presidents must be in their final few days at Birkenhead now surley, bet they cant wait to see the back of them! If only Southport knew what to expect.. Its a bit late now, but noted cadet 2448 on the 410s yesterday. Also noticed 2479 on the 118/9s, not seen that one for a good while RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - N301 CKB - 20/03/2013 21:43 Around 18/19 Hybrids at the depot now, should be going into service next week, I've heard Monday, as all of them are not here yet, the rest will just be put into service when they arrive. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - H101GEV - 21/03/2013 15:23 Entry into service for the B5Ls is Sunday 24/03/13 on the 432/433/437 according to the Arriva North West Facebook page.
