Bootle's former 3120 and 3121 have been refurbished to Sapphire standard. They are now numbered 1531 and 1532 respectively

All 10 are done - 1524/5 (3113/4) are covering for MAX Geminis at Blyth. 1533 (3122) is in use at Durham.

Strange that 1532 should have 471 Birkenhead on its destination after being refurbed considering it was a Bootle vehicle.Do they know where Birkenhead is in Ashington?

A number of that batch spent time on loan over at Birkenhead depot to cover for rail replacements prior to transferring to Arriva North East

Doubt it has new leather seating, GL's 2642 had a recent repaint and that has new seat covers and that is about that.

Noted 2226 on rails today and 2268 on the 62.

I would be very surprised if 2227 got L.e.d's now, I would expect it to be withdrawn at the end of this short loan.
