RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - SNL 824 - 11/03/2013 19:20 I'm pretty certain I saw ex-Runcorn Pulsar 2951 on the 487 in Neston an hour ago. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - R879 HRF - 11/03/2013 21:53 Correct you did, 2952 and 2953 where on them too this afternoon RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - SNL 824 - 11/03/2013 22:07 thanks for the confirmation RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - M60lad - 12/03/2013 07:02 Out of interest considering one of Bolton's Hybrid's was involved in a nasty accident yesterday morning, couldn't one of Birkenhead's be sent on loan to Bolton while the Bolton example is away at Wrights for repair so that it doesn't leave Bolton Depot short of vehicles RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - M113 YKC - 12/03/2013 07:42 (12/03/2013 07:02)M60lad Wrote: Out of interest considering one of Bolton's Hybrid's was involved in a nasty accident yesterday morning, couldn't one of Birkenhead's be sent on loan to Bolton while the Bolton example is away at Wrights for repair so that it doesn't leave Bolton Depot short of vehiclesTwo of Bolton's hybrids have been involved in accidents recently! RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - MPTE1955 - 12/03/2013 08:53 I don't really see why Birkenhead would want to loan Bolton one of their brand new buses, this would leave themselves short as well. I would imagine that Bolton will just have to make do with whatever is available to cover for their damaged bus. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - gka472l - 12/03/2013 11:02 Slightly mis-timed shot of 2951 in Thornton Hough this morning on the 487 http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/8551559560/in/photostream/ 2675 on the previous working to 2951 http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/8550458705/in/photostream/ 2953 seen again on the 487 http://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/8550457847/in/photostream/ The other working was 2952 (didn't get a shot though). And one of the Hybrids passed me whilst in Thornton Hough (appeared from the opposite direction to where I was looking so no chance of a shot), think it was 4505 and fully branded up, am guessing driver traing. Launch of hybrids will be end of March when the next delivery arrives. Found a shot on Flickr of 2949 on a 432 http://www.flickr.com/photos/93490889@N07/8543444066/ Do we know if these ex Runcorn ones are loans or permanent transfers yet as they were said to be going to Wythenshawe?? (2939/48/50 have gone to Wythenshawe) RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - H101GEV - 12/03/2013 13:31 They will be just short-term loans until a sufficient number of hybrids enter service. After this, they will take up residence at Wythenshawe. RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot - N271CKB - 12/03/2013 23:09 Heard tonight that an arriva bus was involved in a rta in the bidston area this evening. Anyone know if there's any truth in this? |
