RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - St Helens Rider - 09/04/2019 13:25 New 28 timetable now available. No change to main service but introduction of additional 28A journey at 1705 from St Helens to Haydock Industrial Estate. Just goes straight to Haydock Industrial Estate and doesn't follow any part of the normal 141 route. That's my point, why use the 141A number when it's a totally different route. RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - mrd97 - 09/04/2019 23:40 How long have they started to use 4 digit route numbers? First one I seen was the 217A. RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - mr t - 11/04/2019 11:30 All of the April 29th changes are now listed on the Merseytravel site RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - St Helens Rider - 11/04/2019 15:16 Corrected 141 timetable now online confirming that the daytime service is indeed 2 hourly. Bit of a scandal is that the last daytime journey leaves Newton at 1500 (Earlestown 1521) leaving a three and a half hour gap between the daytime and evening service. Morning journey starts at Chester, but no evening journey finishes there (last bus to Chester runs back to Heswall). So regardless if they’re operating 1 bus out Chester depot or not, either or has a very long dead run back to the depot RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - iMarkeh - 29/06/2019 15:02 (28/06/2019 11:40)mrd97 Wrote: That sounds odd. They run dead from RF to Chester and then do the 22. It's on the RF duty boards. RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes - mrd97 - 29/06/2019 20:42 (29/06/2019 15:02)iMarkeh Wrote: I thought that. It’s good there’s a morning peak bus from Neston into Heswall, as currently the first bus doesn’t get into Neston until gone 9am. Dead run seems odd, perhaps they could start at Heswall about 6.20, or even run an extra 1/2 from Rock Ferry to Chester where it could then go on the 22. |
