Could be a good idea to get the 'MTL Customer Service' notice off the staircase panelling on 3309 to fit to preserved 3317 (that's IF it's going into MTL North livery...)
3314 also had its original MTL notice on the staircase panelling (when it was at Bootle), but -of course- that's no longer on Merseyside.

0317 still has hers but its quite faded now

3309 has had a reprieve and is in service on Southport schools because of a delay in receiving replacement vehicles. Still in service at CR are 3309, 3312 and 3319.

The millenium batch is coming out of service thick and fast at the moment...Looks like Southport's will be the last.

They have just hit the 15 year old age this month so no surprise, plus the new deckers around the area have seen the cascaded DLA's replace them. We are coming to the end of the ex mtl stock now with just the marshalls hanging around and even they will probably be all gone quite soon.

There us an ex birkenhead one parked up in golborne today at a school still in arrivas new revised livery but looking rather tatty and as a a sticker on the back about some social club.

As I told Motormayhem yesterday when I was on his 360s, 3276 is still with Buckley Bells Dance Troupe in Oldham and is still running quite well and as far as I know its still based within the same yard that Yelloway's Coaches use

With Southport's R-WVRs now withdrawn and sold are there any of this batch left in serice?
