Either way, the latest arrivals (10 of them) have a 'Date of First Registration' of 1st January 2015. They also have a 'Year of Manufacture' of 2015! I know Arriva like to look into the future, but that's ridiculous!

They all pay the usual decker tax of £500 a year and -as you can see- they all use the proven Cummins ISBe 6.7 litre engine.
4596 (SL64 JEU), 4597 (SL64 JFA), 4598 (SL64 JFE) and 4599 (SL64 JFF) aren't on the registration database yet, despite appearing on BLOTW.

That's interesting MM as 4595 which is due for St Helens has been registered - unless like 4584/5 it has been registered early so it can be used for type training?

There registering 1 or 2 so that drivers can take them out on a road test to familiarise themselves and get a feeling of how they drive.

Green Lane are only due eleven according to the Arriva North West Facebook page. 4595 is for St Helens so has probably been registered earlier to be used for type training

Yes but as Motormayhem has said one or two will be registered earlier than the rest of the batch for type training - similarly with the first two of Green Lane's batch
There are only 53 Enviro400s on order for the North West - confirmed by Arriva as 11 for Green Lane, 26 for St Helens and 16 for Bootle. We will have to wait and see if it changes

It does look increasingly likely that Green Lane are getting 12 then, given that 4595 is registered despite not being reported as delivered to St Helens whereas those immediately after it are yet to be registered.
It is sensible for Green Lane to take 12 as the 10B PVR is 11 so a spare will be required.

According to the arriva company magazine "ARRIVA NOW" what employees get it states green lane are to receive 12 st helens are to receive 26 and bootle to receive 15 .

That's an excellent move and this gives Green Lane a spare which could be deployed on other routes at busier times. Thanks for confirming MM - as ever your contributions are much appreciated!
